Dave Daniel graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law in 1982. After working for the federal government and a middle-sized law firm, he began the general practice of law in September, 1986 with Hyatt Legal Services. He has been practicing law out of the same West View office location since February, 1987.
In addition to the areas of practice listed on the home page, Mr. Daniel also received certification in Divorce and Family Mediation. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and a part of its Alternative Dispute Resolution Sub-Committee.
Dave Daniel has been married to Martha for 28 years and the family resides in Franklin Park. They have two children; Stephen and Keira. Keira is a senior at North Allegheny High School and Steven is attending Montreat College in North Carolina. The family belongs to a large church in the North Hills area where Martha works as the Director for Children’s Ministries and Dave serves on the men’s ministries leadership team.
Scott Kasbee graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1982. He served over seven years as an officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corp (the Army’s Legal Branch). He advised soldiers on divorce, family law, wills and general legal matters and also held assignments as criminal prosecutor, customs officer, and company commander in Nuremberg, Germany. His service awards included three Meritorious Service Medals.
Following military service, Scott worked with Dave at Hyatt Legal Services. In 1995, they partnered to form the firm Daniel & Kasbee. His caring manner results in high levels of referrals and return clients. His practice focuses on the areas of divorce and domestic relations, bankruptcy, wills and estates.
Scott has been married to Marleen for 30 years. They have two children, Brittney, who is a decorated Specialist in the Army National Guard and works as a paramedic and EMT in Cranberry Twp. Patrick loves cars, but is currently working temporary jobs. Marleen is a full time volunteer for non-profit organizations: North Hills Community Outreach, Adoptive Family support groups, and the Copernicus Center in Chicago. Scott provides Pro-Bono services to NHCO and the YWCA.
Darlene MillerLegal Assistant
Darlene Miller has been a part of the legal team of Daniel & Kasbee since its inception in 1995 as legal assistant and licensed notary public. Prior to that time Darlene was employed at Hyatt Legal Services at the same West View location since 1986.
She is the first person you will talk to at Daniel & Kasbee and with her more than 25 years of experience she will answer your questions and direct you to the attorney to best meet your legal needs.
Darlene is the mother of three (3) daughters, Christie, Stacey and Alisa and grandmother of four (4).
Besides being a devoted mother and grandmother, Darlene is a minister at Holy Wisdom Parish on the north side of Pittsburgh. She is very actively involved with the festival fundraising committee.
